Come and learn a new skill whilst painting a picture of your beloved furbaby. In this fun and creative workshop you will learn how to apply watercolours, tools and techniques I use to achieve certain effects, tips and tricks for navigating accidents on the page, the basics on choosing your colours and mixing to create new colours all while having fun creating an exciting pet portrait of your desired animal.
Your Pet Portrait will be pre sketched out prior to the lesson to focus on learning the techniques of using watercolours.

Sip on a refreshing mocktail featuring locally sourced ingredients while enjoying your very own individual grazing box full of delicious savoury and sweet treats.

All art supplies needed for the day will be provided. This includes: Paper, brushes, paint, individual mixing palettes and clean water.

This event is suitable for adults, and kids. An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adults may observe the class for free if not attending themselves.

At this event you will also get to know the artist Jaimee Mcleod Art, I have been creating pet portraits since December 2019, after the passing of my family pet I decided to use my skills to create an extremely thoughtful painting for my family. With almost two full years of painting hundreds of pet portraits sent all over the world, I have learnt many new skills and progressed since my first portrait. I would love to get more involved with the community to share my craft and create an artwork that they will be able to cherish themselves or give to someone special. 🌈💖
